Recently, a report of “death caused by dry clothing effervescent tablets” caused a sensation. According to reports, Xiao Muhao had a cold and fever and went to a hospital for medical treatment. After the injection, Muhao’s mother took a pill about 6mm in diameter to Muhao from the box marked “oral” Wa Ning effervescent tablets. About 10 seconds after taking the medicine, Muhao suddenly shook his hands and feet, then began to cough violently, and his mouth slowly turned blue.
