1. Water temperatures range from 38 to 41 degrees Celsius

The baby’s skin is delicate. In order to avoid scalding, the bath water temperature should be controlled between 38 and 41 degrees Celsius. Cold water should be put before hot water (this order hopes that every parent should pay special attention to, if the first hot water forgot to put cold water, it is easy to cause baby skin burns), and then use the back of the hand or wrist to test the water temperature. Because these two parts of the skin is more delicate, more close to the baby’s delicate skin, you can feel how the water temperature is more suitable for the baby, water temperature is not suitable for hot. Special thermometers can also be used to measure water temperature more accurately.

When all this is ready, you can undress and bathe your baby.

2. Cleaning baby’s face from inside to outside

Use a wet cotton ball or towel to gently scrub the inner and outer corners of the baby’s eyes. The baby’s eyelids are very tender, so the movements must be very gentle. Then scrub from the nose to both sides and wash from the center of the face to the outside.

When washing other parts of the baby, if you use bath fluid, you should gently use your hands to gently block the baby’s eyes, nose and mouth, so as to avoid splashing foam into these parts.

3. Coordination of left and right hands to hold the baby’s body

You can pour your baby’s special bath solution into the water or apply it all over your body, then gently put your baby in the water.

When bathing, clamp the baby’s body with the left arm and hold the baby’s head firmly, so that the baby feels safe and comfortable, gently cover the baby’s ears with the forefinger and thumb, to prevent water from entering the baby’s ears.

Bath your baby from the head, wash your face, then your hair, and then wash your whole body.
