Marry yourself out before 30 and have children in your early 30s. Have you noticed that there are more and more women around you? Although women are considered “older mothers” at 35, a new study says that having children at 30 is already in a “dangerous zone” and that the risk of premature birth and stillbirth increases by 20%.
In the past, hospitals focused on statistical analysis of the situation of older women over 35 years of age, but now the population over 30 years of age has also been included in the focus of observation.
Hospital data: Nearly half of white-collar women become mothers after age 30
More than 8,000 parturients gave birth last year in the First Affiliated Hospital of Heavy Medical Sciences. Last year, 38% of 30-34-year-olds gave birth and 7% to 8% of over 35-year-olds gave birth. As of the current statistics, the number of over 35-year-olds has not increased, but the proportion of women between 30-34-year-olds has exceeded 40%.
The statistics of Southwest Hospital are similar, and the proportion of women aged 30-34 in maternal and child health care hospitals is slightly lower, but also more than 30%.
The maternal population in these three hospitals mainly comes from urban white-collar workers. Data analysis of more than 20,000 maternal data shows that 42% to 45% of women over 30 have children only.
