It’s really distressing that new mothers work so hard and admire them from the bottom of their hearts, because so many new mothers can take care of their babies healthily no matter how hard and tired they are. So, now in the face of the new mother’s troubles – postpartum lochia too much, I actively for the new mother, call me Lei Feng!

This is the reason why there are so many new mothers

After delivery, with the shedding of uterine decidua, especially the decidua at the placental attachment, the tissue containing blood and necrotic decidua is discharged through the vagina, which is called lochia. Generally, lochia can be completely discharged within three weeks after delivery. If it is still dripping more than three weeks, it is called lochia endless. Now let’s take a look at the causes of maternal lochia.

1. Uterine atony

After childbirth, the new mother did not get timely and effective rest, or her physical condition was poor, or the childbirth time was too long, resulting in the loss of vitality, abnormal uterine inertia, and difficult to completely discharge lochia.

2. Tissue residue

Uterine damage or improper operation of the doctor, resulting in the production of some tissue remains in the mother’s body, staying in the uterine cavity. If it is caused by this reason, then the amount of blood in lochia will be more or less, and there will be blood clots, even abdominal pain.

3. Intrauterine infection

Postpartum can not do a good job in the cleaning of private places, such as the use of unclean sanitary napkins, bath, blind intimate behavior, etc., or it may also be because the surgical instruments used in production are not clean, eventually leading to bacterial infection in the uterine cavity. At this time, lochia will send out bursts of odor, and mother will feel bursts of abdominal pain, body heat. If you do further examination, it will be found that the number of white blood cells has risen sharply.
