It is generally believed that the process of giving birth is too fast, which is the reason for the new mother’s good health, and it is also a good thing for the baby to suffer less. However, this view is unscientific. If the baby is born too soon, it will often make the expectant mother and the doctor as if they are fighting a war. If the disinfection is not timely, it is easy to increase the chance of puerperal infection of the baby and the puerperal.
Three stages of normal delivery
During pregnancy, expectant mothers will learn about childbirth in the process of learning. What kind of stomachache is the real beginning of birth. Many pregnant women just because of the lack of knowledge of childbirth, the whole family rushed to the hospital to find that it was not the labor pains. Therefore, it is very important for parents to understand the whole process of childbirth.
Normally speaking, the whole process of childbirth is divided into three stages, also known as three stages of labor, and these three stages of labor are the whole process from the rhythmic contraction of the uterus to the delivery of the fetal placenta. After completing this process, the expectant mothers can be regarded as the real end of childbirth.
The first stage of labor starts from the regular contraction of the uterus to the mouth of the uterus. In this process, the first birth of pregnant women will take a longer time, about 12-16 hours, and has given birth to a child of the maternal, this process time will be shortened, only 6-8 hours. This is because the cervix of a woman who has had a baby is more relaxed.
The second stage of labor is from the full opening of the uterine orifice to the arrival of the child. It takes about 1-2 hours for primiparas and less than 1 hour for multipara. During this period, the size and correctness of the force exerted by expectant mothers are directly related to the speed of fetal delivery, whether the fetus is anoxic, and the degree of perineal damage.
The third stage of labor is from the birth of the child to the delivery of the placenta. Most mothers only need 5-15 minutes. If the placenta does not fall for more than 30 minutes, it should follow the doctor’s arrangement and be delivered with the help of the doctor.
