After pregnancy, many expectant mothers will go to the hospital for prenatal examination on time. Generally, the whole pregnancy needs to do more than a dozen birth tests, large and small. Each birth test has to queue up, which is really time-consuming and laborious.
Some mothers have no problem with birth inspection every time. They can’t help but wonder: since they are normal every time, can they have fewer birth inspections? Save money and trouble!
Is that ok? Science? Next, let’s talk about it.
▎ it’s OK not to come to the production inspection, but you should be able to bear the worst result!
In ancient times, there was no birth inspection. Some dignitaries and dignitaries will have special doctors who will start to learn safe pulse and tocolysis drugs, but these can not be compared with modern advanced instruments.
Many old people also said that in the past, people didn’t need birth inspection. Not many were born well!
However, it depends on probability. From a genetic point of view, the probability of giving birth to healthy babies is higher than that of defective babies, so that human society can reproduce.
However, less chance does not mean no!
You just “won the prize” when you didn’t go to the production inspection. You can imagine the result. Can you accept it? How can I? Then there’s really no problem without birth inspection. If not, then be honest with the production inspection and don’t leave any!
For example, if your child is born with Down’s syndrome or severe congenital heart disease, you can fully accept and face it calmly, then you can completely avoid Down’s screening, noninvasive fetal DNA testing, amniocentesis and chromosome karyotype analysis, and B-ultrasound screening for major malformations.
▎ the role of birth inspection should not be too much!
Screen for abnormalities
Prenatal examination is actually a screening method. Screening is aimed at all people. Its purpose is to screen high-risk people from normal people, and then make further examination to diagnose diseases.
Regular prenatal examination is mine clearance. For diseases affecting the mother and fetus, it can be found, diagnosed, prevented and treated early.
According to statistics:
The probability of premature birth is 8%;
The probability of preeclampsia (gestational hypertension) is 3% ~ 5%;
The probability of gestational diabetes is 15% to 18%.
The total probability of birth defects is 3% ~ 5%.
About 1% of the defects can be found by naked eyes at birth.
Do you dare not go to the production inspection for these real data?
▎ the three most important prenatal examinations during pregnancy
Birth inspection is very important, especially the following three birth inspections. Even if you are busy, you should come to the birth inspection on time.
Tang sieve examination: 11 ~ 14 weeks
Need to do early Tang, NT, NIPT, can also predict preeclampsia and other diseases;
Do a full set of various laboratory tests, physical examination, consultation on various problems of early pregnancy and inform the matters needing attention during the whole pregnancy;
If you are at high risk of Down’s disease, you can ask for chorionic biopsy or sheep wear later;
If you are at high risk of preeclampsia, you can take oral low-dose aspirin for prevention. If you use it late, the effect is not good.
Macroplegia: 20 ~ 22 weeks
It is mainly used for ultrasound screening of large fetal malformations. If there is a risk of premature delivery, the length of cervical tube can also be measured.
Estimated fetal age: 37 ~ 37 weeks
Make a delivery plan and confirm whether to give birth by yourself or choose cesarean section.
